Our Process
Here at Grumpy Goat, we start out by using raw, farm fresh goat milk from our herd of Toggenburg goats.
We use the 'cold process' method when soap making. This means the ingredients are not heated, which allows them to conserve their beneficial and natural properties.
There are many advantages to making soap using the cold process method. First and foremost, this method allows for complete control over the ingredients used in the soap, ensuring that only natural and sustainable ingredients are included, also allowing for the retention of natural glycerin, which is a by-product of the saponification process and helps to moisturize the skin.
Overall, the end result is a soap bar that is both gentle and nourishing, with a rich lather and natural scents.
